NT Link has been serving Northern and Remote Australia, providing a range of transportable modular solutions. NT Link prides itself on being a Northern Territory family-owned and independently operated business, with over forty years’ experience. Based in Darwin and Alice Springs, NT Link are dedicated to supporting our local communities throughout the Northern Territory.
Directors, Tony Smith and Libby Prell, drive a culture of collaboration, believing in the collective capabilities of their Executive and employees whom empower people to find solutions. Our Journey
NT Link's story began with the entrepreneurial spirit of Tony Smith and Libby Prell. In 1974, Tony visited Uluru and a few months later purchased the lease to the Uluru Motel. Needing some more accommodation options for guests, Tony began exploring innovative ways to expand. He designed and installed 36 transportable ensuited motel rooms, purchased his first B Model Mack, and pioneered the use of a forklift to unload and position the buildings. These early experiences in problem-solving and innovation laid the groundwork for what would become NT Link.
After successfully operating tourism and transport businesses in Central Australia, Tony and Libby established NT Link in 1988. What started as a small, family business has grown into a trusted provider of transportable building solutions across Northern and remote Australia.
Today, NT Link continues to build on Tony and Libby’s vision - proud of our people, passion, and purpose to deliver projects that add value and exceed expectations.
